About This Quote

Alice in Wonderland, written by Lewis Carroll, was a strange book. It had a strange story, strange characters, strange illustrations, and strange morals. The strange part was that it was all true. There was this strange world where people could be almost anything they wanted to be.

And the things they were weren’t very different from who they are in real life. They just had an extra sense. For example, the Caterpillar turned into a butterfly when he wanted to be one.

Then there were the Mock Turtle, the Walrus, and the Hatter who also had strange senses added to them when they wished. The only problem with this strange world was that there was no way for anyone in it to have an extra sense because none of them could invent one in the first place.
